When Your Body Hurts But Nobody Can Tell You Why...

✅ You’ve done the tests.
✅ Tried the specialists.
✅ Followed the diets.
✅ Done the physical therapy.

And yet the pain is still here.

Sometimes it shifts or flares up for no clear reason.

Sometimes it gets worse when life gets more stressful.

And sometimes it’s just… always there.

People tell you to “relax,” “stretch more,” or “just accept it.

But deep down, you know something else is going on.

You're not imagining it. You're not dramatic. You're not broken.

Your nervous system is trying to protect you.

Your Pain Is Real. And It’s Reversible.

Chronic pain is real even when scans are clean, labs are “normal,” and there’s no clear injury.

It’s not all in your head. It’s in your protective wiring.

When your nervous system has been under chronic stress from trauma, childhood adversity, perfectionism, or even subtle, long-term pressure to stay in control, your body learns to stay in high alert.

Over time, this can lead to neuroplastic pain, where the brain keeps triggering pain signals even when there’s no physical threat or damage.

This doesn’t mean your pain isn’t real. It means your body is doing what it learned to do: protect you.

The good news?

Your brain and nervous system are built to change. With the right support, they can stop sounding the alarm when there’s no real danger.

Common Neuroplastic Pain Diagnoses and Symptoms That I Work With

Somatic Experiencing is supportive for chronic pain or discomfort that has no identifiable structural cause. You might experience:

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Chronic migraines or tension headaches

  • IBS or chronic digestive discomfort

  • Pelvic pain or vaginismus

  • Interstitial cystitis

  • Chronic fatigue

  • TMJ/jaw tension

  • Burning, tingling, or numbness

  • POTS-like symptoms

  • Unexplained joint or muscle pain

  • Back pain, neck pain, or shoulder pain that comes and goes without injury

  • Long-standing muscle tension that doesn’t resolve with massage or physical therapy

  • Generalized chronic pain that “moves around”

  • A history of trauma, anxiety, or hypervigilance alongside your physical symptoms

If your pain doesn’t make medical sense and tends to get worse with stress or unpredictably flare, nervous system work may be your next step.

What We’ll Do Together

We will work together for a total of 6 weeks (one 90 minute session per week).

During this private 6-Week container, I’ll help you:

  • Understand your pain through a nervous system lens

  • Learn how your body’s pain signals are wired for protection

  • Build new pathways of safety and connection in your body

  • Increase your window of tolerance for sensation

  • Begin to feel less at war with your body, and more at home in it

We go gently. Nothing is forced. You do not have to “push through” to get relief.
