Meet Tatiana
Trauma Therapist & Holistic Coach
Welcome! Thank you for being here. I'm so excited to get to know you and your nervous system. Here's a little piece of who I am and my background.
I'm a Latina & First Generation trauma therapist born to Colombian & Guatemalan parents. I know first hand what it's like to break generational cycles and I want to support you in your journey to do the same.

I am passionate about mind/body practices and firmly believe in addressing mental health issues from a holistic perspective. I believe that nervous system regulation is a lifestyle. As your therapist, I will help you release the traumatic energy that's been trapped in your body AND I will support you in creating an intentional lifestyle that supports your nervous system.

My main priority in sessions is helping you heal from your trauma so that you can break generational cycles and discover your inner wisdom. When you heal yourself, you heal generations to come.
I aim to create a safe environment in our sessions through a warm, compassionate, and direct approach. I'm the therapist that clients come to when they're all talked out. So if you're working with me, expect to get to the root of your problems in the first session.
As much as I love challenging clients and taking the work seriously, I also enjoy using humor whenever appropriate. One of my favorite things to do with my clients is connect through laughter!

Somatic Experiencing - Completion of Advanced I
Somatic Experiencing is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma. Somatic Experiencing focuses on tracking the client's nervous system, building the capacity to be with uncomfortable sensations and emotions, and completing the survival response that wasn't able to be completed during the original traumatic event. The Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Certificate requires completion of the following modules: Beginning I, II, & III, Intermediate, I, II, & III, and Advanced I & II and a total of 216 total training hours (minimum of 3 years to complete).

Integrative Somatic Parts Work - Level 1
Integrative Somatic Parts Work integrates the framework of Internal Family Systems to help clients resolve past trauma through helping clients understand that we all have "parts" or "sub-personalities" that protect us. Over time, the more we ignore our unwanted parts, they begin to come in conflict with each other, leading to further distress, anxiety, depression, and dissociation.
