SE is a body-centered approach to healing trauma and regulating the nervous system. It’s designed to gently release stored tension and overwhelm from the body, helping you move from surviving to thriving.

I specialize in working with women who have experienced:

  • Sexual assault

  • Childhood abuse and neglect

  • Complex trauma

Many of my clients are navigating challenges such as:

  • Difficulty setting boundaries

  • Low self-esteem

  • Trauma flashbacks and dissociation

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Chronic physical symptoms like migraines, IBS, muscle and jaw tension

  • Feeling disconnected from their bodies

How Somatic Experiencing Works

Trauma isn’t just in the mind—it’s stored in the body. SE helps you gently release that stored energy without needing to relive painful memories or experiences. Through guided awareness of physical sensations, SE supports your body’s natural ability to heal itself.

My Approach

As your Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I create a safe, supportive environment where you can truly begin to unwind. My approach is warm, compassionate, and direct. While I take your healing seriously, I also believe in the power of humor to lighten the journey when appropriate. Together, we’ll explore what your body needs to feel safe, supported, and regulated.

What to Expect

Each session is 90 minutes, allowing us the space and time to connect deeply with your healing process. Whether you’re working through emotional pain, physical symptoms, or both, SE offers a non-invasive, holistic approach to recovery.
